Ingredients
1 Lemon juiced and zested
1 Orange juiced and zested
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 Shallot minced
Olive Oil
White Wine (2 oz)
1 cup pure maple syrup
4 each 7oz Skinless Salmon portions
Lemon Wedge for garnish
Salt & Pepper to taste
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
To make Glaze:
- Heat oil in large saute pan and add onions and garlic over medium heat
- When onions are translucent, add wine, zest, and juices
- Add maple syrup and let marinade reduce by half while you sear the salmon
- Season both sides of salmon with salt and pepper
- Sear Salmon in pan until golden on both sides
- Baste salmon with marinade
- Heat in over 8-10 minutes
- Baste 2 times will cooking in oven
- Add remaining glaze when out of oven, serve with lemon wedge garnish and side of choice.
